ARTE ART?

He decidido creer, que la gran mayoría de los buenos fotógrafos, están en la red. En sitios como éste en el que escribo, en páginas ocultas pero al alcance de todo el mundo. Cada día que pasa me afano en progresar, en alcanzar mis metas y proponerme nuevos objetivos, y cada vez que voy a algún evento de remarcada importancia como ferias, exposiciones, o cualquier tinglado repleto con el glamour de la escena artística madrileña o nacional, me desespero al ver como galerías y galerías están repletas con material que la gente llama arte fotográfico y yo, la verdad, no estoy de acuerdo. Deberíamos separar el arte de la fotografía tradicional, aunque sea digital, de lo que llaman grafismo, fotoarte, diseño fotográfico o demás. La fotografía, aun siendo digital, tiene sus leyes, sus principios y sus reglas, y pienso que una fotografía movida, mal expuesta y realmente mal retocada, sí lo está, sea considerada como arte fotográfico. Es más, que coloquen dicha fotografía a la misma altura en categoría que una foto de, por ejemplo, Cristina García Rodero, a mi, me parece una falta de respeto. No quiero que se me tache aquí de cruel, pero el gremio está muy mal y los que vivimos de ello no teníamos que vernos afectados de tal manera por un fenómeno que no va más allá del puro fanatismo por lo tecnológico combinado con una nueva tendencia de moda. Desde aquí mando un saludo a todos los buenos fotógrafos que hay en esta página, que, aunque no vivan de ello, hacen un excelente trabajo y merece ser aplaudido. Señores, mi enhorabuena. Every day I pass working; I labour to progress, to reach my goals and to propose myself new aims, and, whenever I go to some event of noticed importance as fairs, exhibitions, or any replete shed with the glamour of the Madrid’s or naiconal’s artistic scene, I get despaired on having seen how many galleries are repleted with material that people call photographic art and I don’t agree. We should separate the art of the traditional photography, even if it‘s digital, of what they call graphic design, photo-art, photographic design or others. The photography, even being digital has it laws, its principles and its rules, and I think that a busy photography, badly exposed and really badly retouched, it never can’t considered like photographic art. To place the above mentioned photography at the same height in category that a Cristina García Rodero’s shot, looks like to me a lack of respect. I don’t want to be called “cruell”, but the Photographer has a very hard and those that we live of it, didn’t have to be affected of such a way for a phenomenon that does not go beyond the pure fanaticism for the technological things combined with a new fashionable trend. From here I order a greeting to all the good photographers who exist in this web, even if they don’t live of it, they do an excellent work and deserves to be applauded.
